Sciatica is a pain that typically presents as lower back pain or buttock pain which is radiate out to one leg in the form of motor or sensory disturbances. The sciatica nerve is the largest nerve in the body.
It consists of a large boundle of smaller nerves that begin from L2 (lumber) to travel down the buttocks and move through the leg you can say the SCIATICA nerve is the largest and thickest nerve in the human body. The sciatica nerve is made up of five nerve roots, these five nerve roots come together to make a right and left Sciatica nerve.
Sciatica symptoms…
If one has Sciatica pain may experience severe to mild pain anywhere along the path of the Sciatica nerve (back of the leg)
Patients describe Sciatica pain in different ways. Many patients say that pain as severe shooting pain , some describe this pain as ” electric current or burning pain, others tell numbness in legend toes, especially the last toe.
Sciatica pain may be constant or may come and go, this pain is usually more severe in leg campers to your lower spine, sciatica pain may feel worse if the patient sit or stand or walk long period of time severe pain in the back of leg, pain that worsens with movement, in chronic condition loss of bowel and bladder control (courage equal)

1. slipped disc / Herniated disc…. slip disc in the lumbar area is the most common cause of sciatica pain. When a slip disc happens to a lumbar vertebra, it causes pressure on a sciatic nerve root.
2. Spinal stenosis… this narrowing and reduces the spinal canal and this reduces the space for the nerves.
3. Injury….
And other causes are Degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, etc.
